Come and share what the Bible has to say about these current things that are now on the seen?
At Le Center SDA Church, we are dedicated to helping people learn about God and His plans for them. We believe that understanding faith is a journey that enriches lives and strengthens communities. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Jer. 29:11
While the apostle John was sitting along the shores of Patmos, a penal colony where he was now living out his life sentence, God gave him the following vision.
Revelation 21:1-4 - Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
I am sure John looked at his personal situation and longed for the time when He would live in a perfect world with Jesus, his close friend and Savior. It had been about 65 years since Jesus had ascended into heaven, and things had changed so much.
Just think about how awesome it will be to live with Jesus in a place where true love, peace, and harmony will exist. Every care of this world will come to an end, every heartache will disappear, every disappointment will give way to joy, every physical pain will subside, every emotional challenge will end, and separation from those we love will never happen again.
Until that time, if you are looking for a safe and uplifting space where you can experience love, peace, respect, support and joy, then join us this week and bring your family, friends and anyone else you know who can use a healthy dose of loving kindness.
God bless!
Pastor Gene

Most people and Christians believe that you go right to heaven or hell when you die. But what does the Bible really say about death? Eccl. 9:5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. You notice when Jesus raised Lazarus He told him to come forth, "John 11:43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
Again what does God's word say? Exodus 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Verse 9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
Verse 10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: ...
On March 7, 321, however, Roman Emperor Constantine I issued a civil decree making Sunday a day of rest from labor. So to appease many of the pagan convert to Christianity, this law was passed
The main beliefs of Christianity include the belief in one God, the divinity of Jesus Christ, the Holy Trinity, salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, and the importance of living a moral and ethical life.
Catholicism and Protestantism are two major branches of Christianity. The main difference between them is that Catholicism emphasizes the authority of the Pope and the sacraments, while Protestantism emphasizes the authority of the Bible and the doctrine of salvation through faith alone.
